Sold-Out Fundraiser Chooses POTM with Deborah Gibson and a Rat Pack Tribute out of Vegas
On August 12th, Party on the Moon had the privilege of playing at the sold-out star-studded grand opening fundraiser for the Miriam & Robert Hayes Performing Arts Center Gala in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.
In addition to opening and closing the evening’s entertainment, POTM also backed Deborah Gibson and another vocal trio, The Rat Pack, a highly-acclaimed Las Vegas tribute act.
Before the four-hour performance, there was a five-hour rehearsal with Ms. Gibson and The Rat Pack.
The band not only did backing vocals and instrumentals for Ms. Gibson, but also brought an eight-piece version of Hornz Unlimited for The Rat Pack.
The Hornz, by the way, played The Rat Pack material from charts they had never seen before!
