Hurricane Can't Stop Party on the Moon

Hannah's high winds and rains closed airports up and down the east coast last Saturday causing delays and cancellations in both Atlanta and Virginia Beach. But POTM was only slightly delayed arriving at the historic Cavalier Hotel to help yet another bride have the night of her life. Just the latest example of the advantages of having your own bus and a trusted driver like David Davis, (who fought the torrents of rain and high winds to get us there).

At one point, however, finishing the trip WAS in jeopardy. Before daybreak, (after seeing a tree limb blow onto then across I-85), David stopped for fear of not being able to see a potential tornado in the darkness. 7AM found David and POTM band leader, Dennis Smith, inside the truckstop watching the weather on CNN trying to gauge whether or not it was safe to go on.

After about an hour & a half, as the sun began to rise, the rain and wind abated somewhat and our journey continued without further incident!
